MTRC Contract SCL 1112
Hung Hom Station & Stabling Sidings (Hong Kong)
T&M Specialists have been awarded a contract for the specialist removal of concrete structures using a variety of demolition methods including hydraulic diamond wire saw cutting, splitting and coring.
The contract also calls for and the provision of Supervision, Technicians & specialist equipment for the cementitious back grouting of the tunnel lining including concrete repair, remedial works by polyurethane grout injection.
Contract 1112 is a critical component of the Shatin Central Link (SCL) development, a 17km railway link serving the New Territories, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. A notable challenge on this project is that the major civil works are to be constructed beneath the existing podium slab, with reduced headroom within a range of 5 - 7 m. Construction must also take place under and within an operating railway station, with no disruption to services.
T&M are currently operating projects from Canada, North America, South America and throughout the Asia-Pacific region & Oceania building a strong relationship and continuous ongoing support, which often expands into other works within T&M capabilities on these Projects.
