T&M provide Shotcrete Training in Indonesia
T&M Specialists to provide Shotcrete Nozzleman training program to EFNARC standards in Freeport, Indonesia
T&M Specialists are pleased to announce they have been awarded another Shotcrete Operator training at Freeport, located in the province of Papua near Puncak Jaya.
The Grasberg Mine is the largest gold mine, the second largest producer of copper in the world and the largest producer of molybdenum.
The mine has three mining operations: the open pit, the Deep Ore Zone underground mine, and the Big Gossan underground mine. A fourth, the Deep Mill Level Zone, is being developed.
Asset owners and contractors are increasingly aware of the economic and safety benefits achieved when employing EFNARC Shotcrete Specialists to assist with the training of their local operators to International standards and exposing the workforce in the evolution and advances made in the applications of Sprayed Concrete.
This commonly used form of ground support when applied by trained personnel achieving safely the highest quality standard for the assets expected lifecycle.
For this long term project T&M Specialists provide experienced shotcrete experts who are EFNARC Certified Examiners. The Examiners will oversee the training of the local specialist workforce.
An ongoing training program has been implemented to ensure the standards of EFNARC are maintained for this project in Indonesia.
This approach to the Client is successfully being implemented on current T&M projects from Canada, North America, South America and throughout the Asia-Pacific region & Oceania building a strong relationship and continuous ongoing support, which often expands into other works within T&M capabilities on these Projects.
